"I believe the church is the hope of the world and its future is in the hands of its leaders. One of the great needs of church leaders is to learn the art of leading transition. Brad Powell and NorthRidge have taken this leadership art to a new level. I highly recommend the example of Brad and NorthRidge Church."

Art of Sacred Cow Tipping Book Image

This book will provide principles and practices that can lead to a resurrection of any church, in any setting. It will provide the inspiration and information needed to lead a church successfully through the necessary changes of tradition and culture without compromising God's timeless truth. When this happens, the church will once again be what God intended...the hope of the world.

CHRISTIAN LEADER RESOURCES FOR TRANSITIONING YOUR CHURCH

Brad Powell is the Senior Pastor of NorthRidge Church located in Plymouth, Michigan.  He is a frequent speaker for national and denominational conferences, and is author of  the newly released book  "Change Your Church for Good: The Art of Sacred Cow Tipping" (Thomas Nelson Publishers).

Brad has an adventurous sprit, loves a challenge, and passionately believes that the Church is the hope of the world… when it’s working right. He has devoted his life to being a catalyst for change in the church, knowing when it comes to the church, failure is not an option.

He provides Christian leader resources, inspiration and encouragement to pastors, leaders, churches and organizations through NorthRidge Ministries Association and an annual conference, Change Without Compromise. This three-day conference addresses the principles he used in leading NorthRidge from static to dynamic, from cultural irrelevance to relevance, and from ineffective to effective without compromising God's Truth. Brad shares real life examples, inspiring stories and his own experience with leading transition in ministries of various shapes, sizes and philosophies. His passion lies not in seeing people lead or do ministry a certain way, but in helping churches realize their full potential and leading them to transition from where they are… to where God is uniquely calling them to be.
Change Without Compromise

Change doesn’t happen when you announce it.  Change grows.  At Change Without Compromise it is our desire to help your church move from where it is to where God wants it to be.  Whether your church is a new plant or existing church, innovative or traditional, modern or emerging, growing or dying, you’re faced with the need to change in order to be and remain a healthy church.

This is fully supported by the book of Acts where from beginning to end the early church was all about change. And, as the body of Christ, it only makes sense in light of the fact that Jesus’ ministry was so directed towards change, we should be too. Change really is an essential element of a healthy church.

This conference will provide you with transferable, practical principles and applications to help you as a leader begin to navigate and transition your church to fulfill its God given potential.  After all the church truly is the hope of the world… when it’s working right.

Here’s the question…is your church working right?  For the church to be working right, someone has to help the church see what they’re doing against the backdrop of the church’s God-given purpose.  Will you be that person?

Join us May 14-16, 2009 to bring about change... without compromise… we promise you it’s going to be HUGE!
